The Spirit series by Kosta Boda, created in the late 20th century, shows a different way of thinking about glass.
Instead of relying on bold color, Bertil Vallien worked with texture and layering. Fine threads of glass sit beneath a frosted white surface. The effect is quiet but steady. A soft rhythm that keeps shifting. Simple at first glance. More complex the longer you look.
